A Rose is a Rose

I just wanted to share this card with you, I made one similar to this for a friends birthday on saturday but using the sentiment celibrate and i thought the colours were so perfect that i'd show you all.

I used A Rose is a Rose stamp set and also the Wonderful Words stamp set.

The card is a chocolate chip base with tea and crumpets designer series paper and Very vanilla card stock,
The ribbon is chocolate chip Taffeta and i used Bravo Burgundy, Rose Red, Always Artichoke and Old Olive classic stampin pads.

I also used stampin dimensionals to raise the large rose up.

more party invites

I thought since i posted pictures of one of my son's invites i should post the other to be fair, this was the invite i made for my eldest sons birthday party back in june, he likes scooby doo if you hadn't already guessed.

to make this card i used the 1" circle punch and my paper trimmer also my stamp-a ma-jig to create the van using the loads of love stamp set, I used a black marker to omit parts of the design i didn't want and also masking to stamp the back of the van.

I used Tempting Turquoise, Gable Green, Only Orange and basic black.

It was great fun to create and the kids all loved it.

beautiful blooms

I'm really loving the bloomin' with beauty stamp set right now and here's another card i made using it, here's the recipe:

Always Artichoke card stock

Whisper White card stock,

Blush blossom card stock,

regal rose ink, pretty in pink ink, always artichoke ink, creamy caramel and close to cocoa ink, an aqua painter and dazzlin diamonds and dimensionals to raise some of the flowers, I also used some diamante brads from the pretties kit.

Here's a card some of you may have seen already in my album,

I used chocolate chip card stock and ink, with very vanilla card stock and some dazlin diamonds, I also used the snowflake cuttle bug embossing folder,

this card is based on one i saw on scs although i can't remember who it was by but i loved it.

A bit of fun

These are the birthday invitations i made for my son's third birthday party, he is a complete Thomas nut at the moment and he thought these were fab.

I used 1 3/8" and 1 1/4" circle punches for the faces and the 1/2" and 1/4" circle punches for the windows and buffers, I also used my colluzle for the roof of the trains and the tunnel. All the card used was Stampin' Up!

Fantastic new products!!

I made this card using the new simply sent card elements kit and i love it, it's great!  so quick and easy to use, I also used the large star punch too item number 113652

and surprise look whats inside!!!   I used snail adhesive and sticky strip to adhere my spirals to the inside of the card and dimensionals to attach most of the stars, but it's really fun and would be great for kids or adults alike and could even be used for Christmas, by just changing the colour combinations.

This is one of the new simply sent card element kits which are available in the new Stampin' Up! catalogue, the stamp set can be purchased separately from the elements kit to give you more versatility and also makes it alot more affordable and by just adding a pack of card stock to the order the possibilities are endless.

A True Friend

This card is from my display board so you'll have to excuse the plastic :) but i like them to stay dry when i get stuck in the rain.

I used my Handsome Hunter ;) Always Artichoke, Rose red, So Saffron and Very Vanilla, with gold brads and the true friend stamp set, I love this set it is so versatile it also comes with a thank you sentiment and some other great images which I'll probably show you more of over the next few months.

Simply Simple

I thought I'd keep it simple this time.

I used Whisper White with Mellow Moss and Certainly Celery, with some more dazzlin diamonds and the Mr & Mrs stamp set.

This set also has a coordinating roller but i chose to use just the stamp set to create this card, I like clean images and simple colours it makes it easy to look at.

Bloomin' with Beauty

It's been a while since I've posted any pictures, I lost the battery charger for my rechargeable batteries and had to buy some...... and everyone knows what my memory is like so that i could take some photo's of all the gorgeous new stamp sets that are in our new catalogue, so that's why it's taken so long.

I love using Always Artichoke with Bravo Burgundy so that's what i used on this card, with the Bloomin with Beauty stamp set and some dazzlin diamonds but you can't tell i used them in the photo sorry, If you'd like to see it up close you'll just have to come to one of my classes or book a workshop :)

WOW  I'd like to say a huge THANK YOU!  to everyone who came along yesterday and supported our charity event, Karen and I were overwhelmed with the turnout it was great  and what a learning experience.... note to self next time book a bigger hall !
