Funky Friday #2

My second Funky Friday challenge the colours were:
Really Rust,
Bordering Blue,
Ballet Blue,
Barely Banana,
Real red and Old Olive.

To see the challenge visit the ccsc blog at the top right of this site.

I used my Loads of love stamp set and the accessories, the neighbourhood jumbo roller and also the scallop edge punch,

Thanks for looking!

Glassy time!

Woo hoo i hear you all say! it's not a card!! I've been meaning to post this for a while but couldn't get the picture off the camera so here it is, if you look close enough you can see my stamp room in the reflection, luckily enough it's not that clear as I'm not a tidy crafter so you can't see the mess all that well.

But enough about the mess what did i use well... I used Stampin' Up! rub ons i know what you are all thinking urggh rub ons but out of all the rub ons I've used these are definitely the best and easiest to use and what a great effect.

You need to make sure that the surface you are working on is completely clean i used fairy liquid to make sure there was no greasy finger prints before i started and then i left it to air dry so that i wouldn't put anything else on it ( like fabric softner or balsm from a tissue)
when it was completely dry i rubbed away.

I got the glass vase from Asda (walmart for those i the US)

Hope you like it.

mojo monday challenge

OK posting this a bit late as I've had trouble uploading pictures to the computer our sd drive isn't working thanks to little fingers.
But i made this card for the mojo Monday challenge I'm really enjoying doing challenges right now as my mojo seems to have mojo'd somewhere else so it's giving me a starting point to work from.

I use Stampin'Up! Chocolate Chip, Bashful Blue, Close to cocoa, and whisper white card stock,

Chocolate chip gros grain and bashful blue gingham ribbon and a level 3 hostess set called Window dressing.

This stamp set is only available if you host a catalogue party or workshop with qualifying sales or place a qualifying order of your own then it's free! I think this set is so cute.

If you'd like to know more about earning this free stamp set and many more contact me via email at the side of this blog.

Loads of love!

I made this card a while ago for my mum's birthday, from my two boys.

I used Whisper white card stock for the base and made a stencil from a scrap piece of paper which i sponged basic grey, bashful blue and certainly celery ink through to make the background for the truck, the truck was stamped onto some bashful blue designer series paper then cut out and i added some more buttons from my collection for the wheels.

I used Stampin' Up! markers for the boys and their delivery with whisper white gros grain ribbon and stuck everything on with some dimensionals.

Thanks for looking.

Kwerner challenge #39

I love my frogs!! I haven't used this set since the new catalogue came out but the Unfrogettable stamp set is still available while stocks last, aren't they cute!!

Every thing is from Stampin' Up! and colours are as stated I love using green galore on the frogs it's so vibrant. I used my aqua painters to colour the images in and mounted them with dimensionals,

I used the Unfrogettable stamp set, the balloon string from crazy for cupcakes and the heart from simply said. (so i managed to use 2 sets today that i haven't used for a while. yay!)

I used my blender pen to create the shine on the balloon by inking the stamp with real red then wiping the ink off where i didn't want it with the blender pen.

Botanical Blooms pretty

I think I'm having a minimalist day, i just want everything clean and simple (including the house would be nice)

I used a Whisper White card base for this card, with Whisper White taffeta ribbon , pretties (pearls, crystals and hat pin) from the Stampin' Up! pretties kit with Mellow Moss and Pale Plum ink.

Secret Crafter : saturday challenge

I've been really enjoying my self lately joining in with different challenges on blogs I've found and today was no different.

Today on the Secret Crafter they set as their Saturday challenge to make a project using hearts... yes you can tell it's nearly February so this is what i made with my Stampin' Up! stash.

I used Whisper White card stock as my base which i cut into an oval card base using my colluzle, I then did the same thing with my Mellow Moss card stock and my Tea and Crumpets designer series paper.

I scalloped the edge of the Mellow Moss oval with my corner rounder ( with the guard taken off) and used my crafters tool kit to peirce the scallops.

I used the simply said stamp set in Always Artichoke and Pretty in Pink ink and aligned the flower heart onto the pink heart using my stamp-a-ma-jig.

I really enjoyed this challenge if you'd like to join in visit the secret crafter for their Saturday challenges.

Thanks for looking.

Elliefun

Just a quick post today using another set i haven't had out for a little while, two of my friends are expecting babies at the moment (you both know who you are i hope) so I'm getting into the baby swing.

I used Stampin ' Up! Wild about you, basic phrases and the polka dot back ground stamps.
I used Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink and Blush Blossom card stock and ink, Pretty in Pink taffeta ribbon and the scallop edge punch.

The button is one which came off my jumper when I was about 3 which my mum saved and I thought it would really suit this card. Thanks mum!!

I really love my scallop edge punch, although i like my corner rounder and the fact that I can take the guide off and make a scallop edge with it, it's so much easier with the scallop edge punch :)

Thanks for stopping by!

This card was inspired by one which i saw on scs ( sorry can't remember who made it but if you know please tell me so i can give them credit :) I changed the colours, stamp set and the layout slightly,

I love the combination of Chocolate Chip and Bashful Blue it's so pretty and I combined that with naturals ivory card stock,

I used some of the great new ribbon which is in our new Stampin' Up! catalogue (courtesy of my friend k who wrapped all my kids Christmas presents with it;) i don't like to waste pretty ribbon) I also used the scallop edge punch, the scallop circle punch and the 1 3/8" circle punch.

Stamp sets were Pick a petal and stem sayings ( I'm really trying to keep my challenge you might be seeing quite a bit more of this stamp set).

Pick a Petal valentine

Just a couple of cards i made this week, I've been trying to upload the pictures for 2 days now but blogger wouldn't let me, maybe it thinks it's too early for valentines? lol

I wanted to make some valentines which would be OK for a man, I always feel some valentines are just a bit to girlie to give to a bloke and I wanted a slightly more masculine feel and these are what i came up with.
Both cards use Stampin' Up! Pick a Petal stamp set to create the love hearts with black embossing powder on real red card stock,
I also used Basic Grey and Basic Black card stock with Real Red ribbon, Basic Grey taffeta ribbon, silver brads and dimensionals, silver embossing powder and the scallop edge punch.

The sentiments are from the seasonal wishes and basic phrases sets.

Thanks for looking
