Designer series circles

Since the promotion for May is buy three packs of designer paper get one free I thought I would show you some projects I have made using the fantastic double sided papers.

This card uses Chocolate chip, close to cocoa and whisper white card stock, the scallop square punch, more mustard ribbon, the pick a petal stamp set with pretty in pink, more mustard and chocolate chip ink and of course some of the all important Sweet Always designer series paper.
I also added some adhesive gems for that little bit of bling :)

I love using the designer series paper on cards as it gives a lovely effect and can create a very eye catching card with little or no effort at all.

Thanks for looking!

Cleaning out my craft room!

I'm not sure how it happened but all of a sudden I  realised I actually can't get in my craft room for the mess, so today it has been my goal to clean it out!  ( obviously i haven't started just yet as I'm typing this but i will in a minute) calling it a craft room makes it sound huge lol it's more of a glorified cupboard that I can sit in really when it's tidy I might post a picture.

I am not a tidy crafter, although i like to be organised and know where everything is, it seems to creep up on me every so often and I realise I can't find a thing.

so as soon as I have had my mini clear out I'll start creating again, but at least the weather is not looking so good so I'm not feeling guilty about not going out side and enjoying the sun :)

Hope you are all having a great day and are all getting loads of crafting done!

keep checking back as we have some fantastic promotions coming up for May especially if you fancy joining the stampin' up! family  and being a demonstrator :)

see you soon!

Soft Summer

Here are the projects that my lovely stampers 10 group made this month at their class , we made a card and a gift bag and I made them all a matching gift which was a scented candle in a little gift pouch.

I used the Soft summer stamp set, with pretty in pink and whisper white card stock,
Chocolate chip, pretty in pink, old olive and close to cocoa ink, with chocolate chip ribbon, the oval punch, scallop oval punch and the scallop edge punch.
we also used stampin' write markers and blender pens.

I didn't realise until after i took the photo that my ribbon had slipped but I've fixed it now.

Thanks for looking!

A New baby!

This card is for one of my Friends who has just had a new baby, I think she is pretty amazing actually, after travelling to the hospital her and her husband couldn't get in and while waiting for someone to answer the door to the delivery suite, she delivered her new bundle of joy in the car park of the hospital !!

So this is for them! Congratulations!!!

I used the bundle of joy stamp set with bashful blue card stock ink and ribbon and whisper white card stock and ribbon. I also used the big deal alphabet and the scallop edge punch.

To make the envelope i had to use two square envelopes, the top one i used my paper crimper on and the bottom one i just left plane, so the top lifts off, i wanted to leave this quite simple so decided not to embellish it, i used bashful blue taffeta ribbon.

Thanks for looking!!

Mojo monday birthday card.

I thought I'd give this sketch a try and what a more perfect reason but for my friends birthday which is on Friday!

I used the soft summer stamp set and the sentiment is from the very versatile stamp set,
colours were Pretty in pink, blush blossom, whisper white and certainly celery, I also used the scallop edge punch and the crafters tool kit ( the mat pack peircing guide).

The flowers were coloured using a blender pen and the ink pads and the flowers on the background were stamped tone on tone for a subtle pattern.

Kwerner colour challenge #49

I decided to try and challenge my self to not use any ribbon and this is what I came up with,

the happy is from the polka dots and paisley stamp set, which I embossed in white with an old ink pad which i discovered the other day, when I tried it out it makes this really cool cracked effect with the embossing powder so that's what I used although I doubt you can see it in the photo.

Beads from my vast collection of stash.

Thanks for looking.

Simply Said

I couldn't believe how long it had been since i had last used this stamp set, this is a shameless case from the US catalogue but i enjoyed doing it none the less and just shows what a great idea book the catalogue can be.

I used: Regal rose, Rose red, whisper white, pretty in pink and so saffron card stock,
I also used whisper white ribbon,
Rose red, pretty in pink, so saffron and basic grey ink and some pretties from the pretties kit.

The scallop edge punch, oval punch and the scallop oval punch.

This is one of the cards we will be making at next months class.

My Funky Friday chalenge #11

So this week I chose the colours above ( yes i realised i spelt certainly wrong too ooops!) I thought this was going to be really easy but I think I started to over think my projects and then found it really hard so I had to leave it for a day and then come back and look at it all afresh and this is what I came up with two quite different cards.
I think the pink one is my favourite. I used pretty in pink textured card stock with some of the new pink striped gros grain ribbon from our mini, I combined this with some of the felt flowers and some punched flowers using the boho blooms punch. The beads are from my vast collection of crafty bits.
For the green card i used baroque motifs and the baroque border wheel, with the scallop edge punch and the the three flower punch from the 3 for you punch set ( which is still available in the UK for a limited time).

kwerner colour challnege #48

Another soft summer card, but I absolutely love this set right now, and I really wanted to try it with this colour combination, Unfortunately we don't have Kiwi Kiss or Baja Breeze in the UK at the moment so I swapped them for the two closest colours I had which were Old Olive and Sage Shadow,
I used chocolate chip taffeta ribbon and a whisper white card base, I also used the scallop edge punch.

Thanks for stopping by!

Soft summer

Here's another card i made with the soft summer stamp set, this set is a two step stampin' set, so comes with a line drawn image and a very soft block image which you can layer. For this card i used the block image which i coloured with stampin' write markers.

I used: Mellow Moss, Creamy Caramel, So Saffron and Barely Banana card stock and ink. I also used a sentiment stamp from the very versatile stamp set which says " may the peace of god bring you comfort today and hope for tomorrow"

Thanks for looking!

New stamps!! Fresh Cuts

I just had to play with this set as soon as i got it! I was just too excited some of my lovey ladies and I were joking about how "used" some of my stamps look and i just explained that they are all well loved by lots of people and we discussed varnishing the blocks to keep them looking nice and clean and how i am always too excited to wait long enough to do that so they all looked used.

but i really love this stamp set.
I used Chocolate chip, Whisper white, Barely Banana and So Saffron card stock and ink, I also used the Oval all stamp set and the oval punches too.
You will also see some of the lovely new Gros grain ribbon from our new mini catalogue on the card on the right, this was the so saffron ribbon and it's much softer than the normal gros grain ribbon which is in our regular catalogue and it's lovely to work with.
