Wishing every one a Merry Christmas!!

Just a quick post couldn't post these before Christmas or they would spoil every ones surprisesI found these really cool clear plastic decorations and thought they would look fab with some designer series paper on the back for great 3 dimensional decorations I tried to make each one individual and of course kept one my self, I used crystal effects to adhere the paper to the ornaments and then used a craft knife to to trim the paper down.
My washcloth muffins ( although i think they look more like ice creams my self) but they are cute and i topped them all with a fizzing bath bomb each of my team got one of these in their Christmas gift and each one was colour co-ordinated to the recipients most used colours
The cup cake cups are made from designer paper which of course co ordinates too.
And this is very special ( it's mine) a few people have received these this year from me, one of My Lovely down line Steph got one for her birthday too, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

each one was completely individual some had a splash of colour ( unfortunately if forgot to take a photo of those before I sent them, but they are made from washers which I embossed with silver embossing powder then stamped into the warm embossing powder and then lacquered with crystal effects and added the gems.

I hope you are having a great Christmas and have enjoyed making all your Christmas projects cards and gifts this year I know I have and I hope the recipients have enjoyed receiving them too!

Merry Christmas! Make sure you pop back soon for some Sale-a bration sneak peaks!

Day dreaming of warm weather

OK so i don't know how cold it is where you are but it here in Cornwall it is flipping freezing!!! it's -1 way too cold for my liking, we don't have snow yet and to be honest I doubt we will get any until next week so the cold isn't even worth it yet. Although the cold weather makes me really grateful for the fact that I have a home to live in that is wind proof and dry even if the heating isn't working too well.

So I was day dreaming about the warm weather that we haven't got and it reminded me that i never got around to showing you all my summer design challenge entry ( which I sent off without taking a photo of it glad someone took one for me.)

So this is my little beach hut and my matching beachy cards and remind me of summers at Dawlish Warren and Teignmouth which were just minutes from where I grew up and the colourful beach huts on the sand.

Here's dreaming of warm weather and heating that works.

12 Days of Christmas day 10

Out of all the cards I have made so far this is definitely my favourite, it's just so simple and you can use any scrap designer papers that you have they don't need to be the same colour as mine.

This card is on an A5 kraft card stock card blank, I used a scrap of Chocolate Chip designer paper that i had left around, and the season of joy christmas tree stamp which I stamped on whisper white card stock with old olive ink. I also used my Chocolate Chip marker and my corner rounder.

I will definitely be sending a few more of these.

12 days of Christmas day 9

I saw a card similar to this on someone's blog, I really can't remember who's blog it was sorry when I blog hop I get carried away :)

Any how I think this card would be perfect for a one sheet card set, as you could stamp one whole sheet of card stock then use it to make lots of cards really quickly perfect for Christmas.

so for that reason I'm not going to give you the dimensions for this card,

the base is a Real Red card stock base with a whisper white layer, I also used kraft card stock and co ordinating taffeta.

I used the French Filigree back ground stamp and the level one hostess set which matches the square scallop edge punch.

Thanks for stopping by!

I cut out the letters and mounted them on dimensionals.

12 Days of Christmas. day 1

here's the first of my 12 Christmas projects, I know it's not a partridge and a pear tree most certainly does not look like this but it is a tree! Unfortunately what I couldn't catch on camera was all sparkly snow glitter detail on the tree. This tree is from the Lovely as a tree stamp set.

So for the next 12 days I'm going to give you the measurements of all the pieces you need to make the projects I'm going to show you, so you can recreate them at home and we will all be just that little bit more prepared for Christmas.

here's what I used:

Chocolate chip card stock base ( A4 cut down to A5 21 cm x 14.9cm)
Close to cocoa cs layer (6cm x 10cm )
Whisper white layer (5.5cm x 9.5cm)
Whisper white ribbon 26cm

Craft white ink, stampin write markers in Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Garden Green, Dazzlin diamonds and a 2 way glue pen.

Thanks for stopping by Happy crafting!
