Scrap book saturday!

looking abit summery.... here's my double page layout for this week, no stamping ( yet)

My boys love playing at the water park near my mums house, which matches the colours of this layout perfectly,    i haven't added a title yet as i don't know exactly what i'm going to be taking photo's of this week during half term while we are there but i do know that I am going to try and remember my camera this time and batteries which have been charged !!!!!  but the title is going to go over the orange tag on the right and my journaling will go on the left under the cloud.

I'm really loving my scrap booking at the moment, it's giving me the chance to look through all my old photographs which i haven't checked for so long,

In the summer time.....

in the summer time.......

i eat STRAWBERRIES!   my favourite, when the funky friday challenge came up as summer this was the first thing i thought of then i thought of the beach   click on the challenge link at the top of this page to join in with the challenge!

our internet is down at home at the moment apparently our internet provider has a problem so my friends zoe and mat very kindly let me use their computer to update and read my emails all 635 of them lol  !

any way this is my funky friday card sugar and strawberries.

into space

Hi every one sorry this is a bit late but I've been busy enjoying all the gorgeous sunshine that we've been having.

Any how  back to Male card month which is almost over so will try and squeeze as many cards in as possible before the end of the month.

My eldest son LOVES space and all things associated with it he wants to be a scientist when he gets older,  and his birthday is coming up so this is for his little brother to give him.

I used  1 3/8" circle punch and the 1" circle punch,  Platinum, champagne mist and frost white shimmer paint,  and the bird on a branch stamp set.

I probably haven't got the planets in the right order but i'm pretty sure he'll tell me where they are meant to be!  :)

SCRAPBOOK SATURDAY !

Another layout fr my boys!  we have so  many photo's I'm trying to get on top of my scrapping at the moment who knows this year I might actually complete an album!  

Well as you can see this weeks layout is based on the same layout as last weeks ( promise not to repeat my self every week!)  but instead of monkeys i used my star punch the blue stars are shimmery with the shimmer paint  and the photo's I will add later.....  I really do add photo's eventually you know!

Any how hope you have a great saturday  have fun scrapping!

this is my Funky Friday card this week  super quick and easy and great if you have limited supplies.

This card is made with the matching stamps et and scrappin kit, a good friend and sunny day scrappin' kit, I used versa mark ink and a marker and added some filigree brads for a bit of bling.

Uh OH!

Morning every one... \i'm having a few technical issues at the moment...  i can't turn my computer on to upload any photo's of projects which are all stored on it it just does not want to co-operate!

More kraft! :)

YES more Kraft card stock i hear you say!  I just love it!  but i promise to upload some projects without Kraft soon ok?

This is a project which i made for my hostess last week, she had some really lovely ladies at her workshop and we had fun making some children's birthday cards (with some help from the children)

The gift set contained 4 cards 2 male, 2 female, 4 gift tags and the gift box which she can re-use  I used the family accessories stamp set along with the  my sweet pea stamp set.  The for you stamp is from the occasional greetings stamp set.

SCRAPBOOK SATURDAY !

Hope fully the first of many of my scrap book layouts!

This layout will have some photo's of my little monkeys as soon as I get around to printing them off...

I used kraft card stock with chocolate chip and very vanilla card stock  (I love kraft! )

Here's my ribbon flower with my monkey!  I also used my shimmer paints on the card stock which is acid free so perfect for scrap booking.

The stamp set I used was fox and friends from the new  Stampin' Up! mini catalogue.

A little bit retro?

I just love this designer series paper that's in the mini catalogue so i thought I'd give it a go for the funky friday challenge and try out another male card at the same time, although i guess this could be for a man or a woman.
Any how the picture doesn't really show up all my paper piercing i was playing with my mat pac again :)  and my new soft suede card stock too!   it's gorgeous!

Football crazy?

It's my sons birthday coming up soon  and he loves football ( which considering we don't watch it at home really surprised me)  any way this is his birthday card, England Football shirt of course  and a few footballs ( soccer balls)

Inside there is another shirt with his name and age on it.

Just soccer stamp set, night of navy, real red whisper white card stock, basic black ink.

More male

So I'm going with the male card theme this month, which I know I personally always struggle with mens cards but I'm actually quite enjoying so far.

So this is just a super quick card which I suppose could be unisex but I thought I'd just keep it simple today.

I used:

Kraft, white and chocolate card stock,
Chocolate and Brilliant blue ink,
Starring you stamp set .

Funky Friday again!  you can see this weeks challenge here  this week we are being thankful  which i think was quite fun because it meant you could create pretty much everything.

Any how here's my card

I used the sweet pea stamp set the stitched felt  from the new mini, sincere salutations stamp set, Kraft, rose red and  pretty in pink card stock, real red craft white ink  and my trusty white gel pen with some chocolate chip taffeta.

Male card month?

Hi every one!  I was joking recently about making May Male card month.............. and that's what seems to be happening.

I struggle with men's cards as do most people i think so thought I'd try and get over my barrier there so here's my first male card of the month!

I know slightly stereo typical tools but I figured I'd start at the beginning :)

and the inside pops up like so, I got this idea while looking for a fancy gift box in google images ( not sure really how this came up)  and unfortunately I didn't save the link but it looked something like this and I thought I'd recreate something similar using all my gorgeous SU stash

I used:

Polka dot background and the sanded background stamps

Occasional greetings and on a pedestal stamp sets

Large star punch 1" circle punch

Chcocolate Chip, Ruby Red inks

Shimmer paint in champagne mist and platinum

white gel pen and sponge daubers

Mini ring box

Just a quick post from me today, just thought i'd share this super cute and simple little box with you,   the pattern is form Stampin' Up!  and i created the box in whisper white stamped the flowers from the sweet pea  stamp set flowers in pale plum and the leaves in old olive  I also used some of the gorgeous stitched felt leaves from the felt flower pack in the new mini.
