Quick gift note pad.

This note book is a really good idea if you haven't got much time or money for a special gift, I made one for my mum for mothers day she loves it, and uses it when she's watching countdown.

I used designer series paper from the fall flowers set, certainly celery ribbon and an off cut of old olive card stock.

I used the su corner rounder with the guard taken off to create a scalloped edge on he old olive card

Water colouring

QUICK TIP

*Dip the tip of a blender pen onto the corner of a Stampin’ Pastel, then apply the colour to the stamped image.

OR

*Brush the tip of a blender pen, Aqua Painter, or wet watercolour brush directly on the tip of a Watercolor Wonder Crayon, then apply the colour to the stamped image.

OR

*Outline a section of the stamped image with a Watercolor Wonder Crayon, then use a blender pen, Aqua Painter, or wet watercolour brush to pull colour where desired.

OR

*Press the closed lid of a Classic Stampin’ Pad down against the ink pad, creating a small pool of colour in the lid then open the lid. Use a blender pen, an Aqua Painter, or a wet watercolour brush to lift the ink from the lid and apply to the stamped image.

I use the last method regularly, the stampin' up ink pads are the only ink pads i have seen with this unique design which allows you to use it as a paint pallet with no fuss.

For a softer look use an aqua painter or try using a blender pen for a more bold effect.

Singing Stampin' Up! praises again I love their aqua painters, I've bought a few before (other makes) and these have without a doubt been the best I've tried, the reservoir is flexible enough to not have to use much pressure at all so you don't have to "break them in" to be able to control the flow of water.
The Blender pens are a fantastic idea, if you have trouble controlling the flow of water from your aqua painter then you should give these a try, and are easily cleaned by just scribbling on a piece of scrap paper. The tip will look discoloured but will be clean and ready for use with the next colour.

Mixed bouquet !

I love this card! I found it on scs and decided to have a go, I've tried it in lots of different colours now but i think these are the two most eye catching.

I used the mixed bouquet stamp set, i love the bold images it produces.

I used pink passion card stock and pink passion ink with whisper white card and 1/4" Whisper white grosgrain ribbon,
I also added a little certainly celery to the bow on the pink card and used barely banana to water colour the centre of the flower.
The purple card I used perfect plum card stock with perfect plum ink whisper white card stock and pretty in pink taffeta ribbon and ink to water colour.
For more information on how to make this card why not book a home workshop and learn how to do it your self.

Bold Butterfly Box

This fantastic little gift box is so easy to make, it is made from one sheet of a4 whisper white card stock,
and to decorate it i used the flitting by stampin' around wheel and bold butterfly stamp set,
with bashful blue ink and white 1/4 inch gros grain ribbon.
