I love the clean look of this card!, I used my cuttlebug swirly embossing folder on whisper white card stock for the base, with some whisper white taffeta ribbon, and ruby red card stock.I used the poppy from the blooming with beauty stamp set which I coloured using stampin write markers and an aqua painter.
The ribbon is threaded through a slit at the side of the card as I don't like to cut ribbons which I put on cards as the ends on the sides will fray and it gives a much better finish to wrap the ribbon around the card than to cut it and get messy ends.

Simple and yet lovley, i try to keep a lighter on my craft desk to seal my ribbons to stop them fraying. (yes my collection went from a shoebox to a bigger box and finally i have a desk which will eventually turn into a corner then a room lol)
