Twilight fan alert!!!!

OK so those who know me know that I'm a little obsessed with Twilight, I'm not the type of person who normally wants to read about vampires  but since reading the first book have been a little hooked!

Well turns out I know someone more obsessed with it than I am and that's scary!!

any how what do you give to someone who loves Twilight??  well a twilight journal of course!!

well kind of this was my take on it any way.

Here's the front cover ( obviously the recipients name started with an E )

and then each of the dividers were decorated with a picture from of one of the books a rose, Bella's truck and an Apple ( sorry think i deleted that picture)

I had fun making it and the recipient was pretty impressed too!

Here's what I used:

Note book from my local super market

Stamp sets: Loads of love ( truck) , Bloomin' with beauty ( rose ), Tart and Tangy  (apple)
Card stock:  Basic Black, Real Red, Kraft, Whisper White
Ink: Real Red, Basic Black, Really Rust,
Accessories:  Eyelet border punch, Tab Punch, White Taffeta ribbon, on board loads of letters, spiral punch, cropodile.

Challenge combination!

Every one by now knows I love challenges today i decided to combine the Mojo Monday challenge with the secret crafter saturday challenge which was to make a card using the masking technique, so this is what I came up with.

I Used Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, Bashful Blue and Whisper White card stock,
Bashful Blue designer series paper, Old olive ribbon, My crafters tool kit, brad from the pretties kit, flowers from the accents and elements kit,

Basic Black, chocolate chip and stayzon ink, the markers to colour and an aqua painter and my trusty snail adhesive.

I used the Loads of love truck and the accessories and the neighbourhood jumbo wheel.

I had fun making this card.

Thanks for looking!

Loads of love!

I made this card a while ago for my mum's birthday, from my two boys.

I used Whisper white card stock for the base and made a stencil from a scrap piece of paper which i sponged basic grey, bashful blue and certainly celery ink through to make the background for the truck, the truck was stamped onto some bashful blue designer series paper then cut out and i added some more buttons from my collection for the wheels.

I used Stampin' Up! markers for the boys and their delivery with whisper white gros grain ribbon and stuck everything on with some dimensionals.

Thanks for looking.

more party invites

I thought since i posted pictures of one of my son's invites i should post the other to be fair, this was the invite i made for my eldest sons birthday party back in june, he likes scooby doo if you hadn't already guessed.
to make this card i used the 1" circle punch and my paper trimmer also my stamp-a ma-jig to create the van using the loads of love stamp set, I used a black marker to omit parts of the design i didn't want and also masking to stamp the back of the van.
I used Tempting Turquoise, Gable Green, Only Orange and basic black.
It was great fun to create and the kids all loved it.
Thanks for looking.
