Scrap book ideas!! (well hopefully when i get around to photographing them.)

These are my efforts for this weeks colour challenge on "ilws"

the colour combo is Taken with Teal, Rose Red, So Saffron and Whisper White, The stamp set right is Doodle that and the sentiment is from the hostess set welcoming words.

This card uses the Year After Year stamp set with the same colour combo and sentiment from the cheer and wishes stamp set. with whisper white ribbon.

Once again I've used Polka dots and Paisley with the Jumbo Petals Wheel and i tried to keep it very simple. I love the colour combinations of Chocolate and Vanilla it makes me want an ice cream, I challenged my self to do a slightly more masculine card and the more i thought about it the harder it seemed to get but i like what i came up with.

Polkadots and Paisley

Here is just one of my polka dot and paisley cards made with this months offer, it combines the petals jumbo stampin around wheel with the stamp set, I used Apricot Appeal Certainly Celery and Very Vanilla card stock with Certainly Celery and Pretty in Pink ribbon.

And Here is another one this card uses the same stamp set and wheel and Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip and Very vanilla card stock, with Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla Gros Grain ribbon,

These are my two favourites but as you'll see i made quite a few,......... I rather like this set!!!

Card Overload?? :)

Well I have been a busy little bee, which you can all see, i just needed to get around to posting all my pictures so here goes.

I've been busy checking out a new site called in love with stamping, It's run by another Stampin' Up! demonstrator and her husband who made the site, so all us "demo's" could keep in contact and show everyone what we can do with our talents, it's not just open to deom's it's for everyone so after you've checked out my site why not head over there for some great inspiration, there's a link at the bottom of my blogg.

In Love with Stamping has a weekly challenge and i thought i'd show off some of my efforts on here too.

This was one of the first challenges which was to use, Ballet Blue, Only Orange and Apricot Appeal.

Designer Butterflies

Not much to this card! You'll need Whisper White card stock, Fall Flowers designer series papers,

The bold Butterfly stamp set, Cheer and wishes greetings set,

Sage Shadow ink and an Embossing stylus to create the lovely flowers which the butterflies are sitting on. ( i used a template for the flowers which i think came free from crafts beautiful magazine a few months ago, but it may have been another magazine.)

A Tree for all seasons

This is a lovely card to make, I used the A Tree For All Seasons stamp set which is a set of four trees which can be water coloured or left as they are and are so cute, obviously there is one for each season,
I love the one i chose, you might not be able to see it to well in photo but there is a tiny bird house hanging from the tree and it reminds me of when i was little and my mum had a bird house in our apple tree.

I used Always Artichoke, Old Olive card stock, with some of the SU designer series paper from the fall flowers set ( this paper is perfect for scrap booking as well as it comes in 12x12 sheets.) I also used some Perfect Plum card stock, Lavender Lace and as always some Whisper White to stamp on.
Ink: Black Stayz on and Always Artichoke
Accessories: Pewter Brads , a Jumbo eyelet, and Elegant Eggplant 1/4" Gros Grain ribbon,
Technique: water colouring ( I used the blender pens for this card)

Simply Said, how great are these, I found something similar on scs but wanted something which would be simple to do and use as many of the stamps in one set as possible.

The red card uses Rose Red, Barely Banana and Whisper White with Very Vanilla ribbon ,

The Brown card uses Close to Cocoa, Very Vanilla and Chocolate Chip card stock and ribbon.
