Bella

Here's something new my stampers 10 made last week end, I think the name of this stamp is perfect as it's a beautiful stamp it's called bella toile, bella obviously in italian means beautiful and toile in french means canvas so this is a beautiful canvas...
I used all Stampin' Up! products:

Stamp sets: A touch of nature, Bella Toile back ground and Oval All
Card stock: Whisper Whiter and Brocade Blue
Ink: Brocade Blue, Night of Navy and Bordering Blue,
Punches: Scallop oval, Corner rounder and the new eyelet border punch.

Mojo bling

Thought I'd do the mojo monday sketch this week, I really wanted to play with all my new stash. If you'd like to join in with the sketch challenges there is a link in my side bar.
So this is the front of my card I used Very vanilla textured card stock and designer paper and die cut from the Christmas Jingle simply scrappin kit I also used the winter post stamp set with some white craft ink, the ribbon is Old olive and chocolate chip gros grain,
Here's the inside of my card, I'm not a real fan of paper inserts but I do believe that cards should be pretty inside and out so for this card I used a scrap of Old Olive card stock which I stamped Using the winter post stamp set again with white craft ink. I also used my Dazzlin Diamonds inside and out.

Christmas presents

OK so here starts my Christmas present marathon, I'm going to try and make at least one different type of packaging every week from now until Christmas, and see how many different ideas I can come up with, Hopefully it will not only inspire you but also help you come up with some cheap alternatives ( plus help me be ready for Christmas lol )

This box is made using Handsome Hunter card stock with the woodcut Holly jumbo roller and Handsome hunter ink, The ribbon is vanilla taffeta. The tag was a scrap of very vanilla card stock sentiment from the occasional greetings stamp set. I also got to play with my new eyelet border punch.

Just hanging around

Hi Just a quick post, I haven't had chance to do any really interesting crafting over the past week, I've been making party invites and card front swaps for Stampin' up! convention, along with organising my 4 year old's birthday party which if you go by how tired everyone is now must have been good fun :), so I'll upload a few things over the next couple of weeks for you.

We made the card above at my last class, it's really simple and every one either had the choice of leaving the ornaments to hang or using dimensional pads and they all got to play with the new Stampin' up! glitters which are gorgeous and i'm not really a glitter person i just make too much mess with it.

The stamp set used was tree trimmings.

Thanks for looking!!!

Book week monkey.

This week has been national book week in school and the children finished the week off by going to school as their favourite story book animal, My son could have gone as something which I already had like a crocodile or a sheep even a goat but no he wanted to be a monkey, so I set about making said monkey costume and for my first from scratch costume i was quite pleased with it.

So this is Willy the Wimp he is a monkey that has been picked on by the bigger monkeys, one day he decides that enough is enough and he goes to classes to learn how to not be a wimp, with a healthy diet and some exercise Willy develops some fantastic muscles ( see six pack on the monkey above) and all the mean monkeys are scared of him and they leave him alone.

I used polly cotton fabric probably should have been something thicker but that was all I could get, I used my acrylic paints to add the lighter tummy and used my precious SU card stock for the mask ( hope he looks after it!!)

Card stock: Close to cocoa, Creamy Caramel and confetti white,
