Help Stampin' Up! Help Haiti

On January 12, 2010 a magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck Haiti, leaving in its wake devastation so overwhelming that the Haitian people and their leaders can only look for help from the outside to cope. As a crafter you can help make a difference in the lives of those who continue to suffer from the effects of this earthquake by purchasing,  the Greenhouse Gardens stamp set.

From now until 28 February, 2010, £1 from everyGreenhouse Garden stamp set purchased will be donated Red Cross’ International Response Fund. The Red Cross is already well-established in Haiti, and this money will be used to provide immediate relief and long-term support through supplies, technical assistance and other support to help those in need.

This time is no different.

Stampin' Up! has also been assembling hygiene kits to be sent to Haiti which shelli gardener has blogged about recently you can see them at work here

Regal Rose gift set!

Ok so i think by now we have gathered that i don't really use an awful lot of pink I think since September I have only used my regal rose ink pad 4 times, NOT because I don't like it but because when I was younger I was totally obsessed with pink and got a bit fed up with it ( if only I could do that with chocolate!) So now having realised that it's one of those colours that I rarelly use I am going to try and use it more often ( not all the time you realise) just more often,

So here's my little gift set,  not sure who will receive this yet but I thought I would make use of some scraps I had left over from Christmas cards that I made using the medallion stamp, I added colour to the medallion stamp scrap using the emboss resist technique which i also used in this tutorial here.

here's what I used with it:

Card stock:  Basic Grey, Going Gray, Very Vanilla,
Ink: Regal Rose, Versa mark,
Stamp sets: Boroque motif, Medallion stamp, Sale-a-bration set whimsical words ask me how you can get this set for free!
Accessories:  Regal Rose gros grain, Pretties kit, scallop circle punch, 1 3/4" circle punch, Heart to Heart punch, sponge dauber, very vanilla love note envelope, scallop edge punch.
