Surprises in the post!!!

Look what i got in the post!!!

I just had to share because it made me laugh!!

This little package came from my friend and downline Hayley and although some might find the contents a little strange it was perfect!

I mentioned in a conversation how i've been craving vinegar and ketchup in copious amounts then a week later this arrived :)
And the tin is just gorgeous :)  Thank you Hayley!!!!

If you'd like to check out her original post with this little parcel in then just click on the link above or in the sidebar.  I'd love to know exactly how she got her tin to be quite so neat too as mine never look as tidy as that when i stick the base back on ;)

So hayley's Random Act of Kindness idea has given me some inspiration too, my downline girls randomly receive packages in the post from me as suprises..... so i might send a few to other people as well love the idea and it really brightened my day!

Thanks for dropping by!

I used Early Espresso and Vanilla card stock with bashful blue and pretty in pink inks and the bliss sale a bration stamp set.

I'm loving the subtles colours with the espresso right now ( possibly because it's making me think of ice cream with chocolate sauce yum)
I also added some of the pretty flat back pearls which we have in the new catalogue!

as i said in the last post it's sale-a-bration and I've been playing with my favourite sale-a-bration stamp set and thought I would share some of my creations with you.

I'm loving the new punches right now especially that they store so easily and take up less space (I'm going to be investing in a few more of those i think!)

I like to make sure the inside of the card is special too it doesn't take long and i always think a card insert looks extra special.

with pretty in pink and blushing bride card stock and ink along with some versa mark and white embossing powder which embossed so well on the Stampin' Up! vellum, punches used were wide oval, curly label and the modern label punch,

Just a quick post for today,    I love clean and simple, it always looks so fresh, so thought I would share this card with you today.

I backed the clear button with some of our new speciality paper  which is absolutely gorgeous it comes in white black and cream, I have the white but wanted blue so I used a sponge dauber with Bashful blue ink to colour it and then wiped the excess ink off with a tissue and wa-la  I have blue speciality paper cut it to size then used it behind my  clear button = pretty button and it's such a great idea because now I can have buttons to match any project I do.

Here's what I used:

Card stock:  Bashful Blue, Whisper White
Stamps:  Whimsical words sale-a-bration set
Accessories:  Eyelet border punch, Bride speciality paper, Clear buttons, silver elastic thread, dimensional foam pads,

Regal Rose gift set!

Ok so i think by now we have gathered that i don't really use an awful lot of pink I think since September I have only used my regal rose ink pad 4 times, NOT because I don't like it but because when I was younger I was totally obsessed with pink and got a bit fed up with it ( if only I could do that with chocolate!) So now having realised that it's one of those colours that I rarelly use I am going to try and use it more often ( not all the time you realise) just more often,

So here's my little gift set,  not sure who will receive this yet but I thought I would make use of some scraps I had left over from Christmas cards that I made using the medallion stamp, I added colour to the medallion stamp scrap using the emboss resist technique which i also used in this tutorial here.

here's what I used with it:

Card stock:  Basic Grey, Going Gray, Very Vanilla,
Ink: Regal Rose, Versa mark,
Stamp sets: Boroque motif, Medallion stamp, Sale-a-bration set whimsical words ask me how you can get this set for free!
Accessories:  Regal Rose gros grain, Pretties kit, scallop circle punch, 1 3/4" circle punch, Heart to Heart punch, sponge dauber, very vanilla love note envelope, scallop edge punch.

Thanks for stopping by!
