Treat boxes

Super simple Valentines treat box!   not sure yet which type of treats to put in it but i haven't got a lot if time left to decide either!  I used the three heart punch and the love you  much stamp set.

There just don't seem to be enough hours in the day at the moment, which is why this is a little late  ( sorry )

there will be a tutorial soon to go along with these boxes just as soon as i get time to put it together.

but here's the other one too!   I used the greenhouse garden set for this one my kids want to give it to my mother so it's perfect for her.

Thanks for stopping by!

and i'm back.........

Hi, so I'm back in more ways than one! after almost 2 weeks without any Internet or should I say access to google which pretty much ruled out everything I wanted to use the computer for we had to format our little computer, and as you can see it seems to have fixed the problem, then we went away for a few days taking the lap top with us of course only to find we couldn't get any mobile broadband connection arrrggghhh!!!

So we've got back off a short break with the kids in "sunny" Exmouth in Devon, and I can use the computer!!!! yay
We had some pretty good weather it only rained one day so we spent most of that day in the swimming pool where it was at least slightly warmer than the tiny caravan we were staying in. :) the boys managed to fall out of their beds at least 3 times every night, so no one got alot of sleep but everyone thoroughly enjoyed them selves and I'm glad to be home :)

I even managed to get some stamping in while we were away! :) I packed my self a mini kit just some card stock a couple of bits of ribbon a stamp set and a set of stampin spots, it didn't take up much room and I had a lot of fun playing around with it. Over the next week I'll show you what I came up with I guess you could look at it as a limited supplies challenge. :)
Here's one of the cards I made, as you can see I took the simply said stamp set with me, this card has a so saffron card base with whisper white and kraft card stock, I stamped it using Pumpkin Pie, Summer Sun, Really Rust, More Mustard and Chocolate Chip ink and I added some gems for some added bling.

Thanks for stopping by my blog!

Forever Flowers

OK here's something you don't see on my blog very often a stamp that's not from Stampin' Up!, I inherited this from one of my friends recently and i think it's just so cute I love the forever Friends bears, so i decided to take part in the Forever friends challenge here which was to make a valentine ......

So i teamed it with some fantastic Stampin' Up! card stock, I used Rose Red, Always Artichoke and Whisper White card stock, I stamped the image with stayz on and I used Rose Red, Always Artichoke, Creamy Caramel and Regal Rose ink with my aqua painter to colour the image.

I did some faux stitching with my crafters tool kit and used my white signo gel pen to create the stitches,

The flowers on the background are stamps from the Botanical Blooms sale-a-bration stamp set which you can get FREE if you spend £45 with Stampin' Up! before the 28th February, (I stamped tone on tone with Rose Red ink)

I decided not to put a sentiment on this card I just loved the flowers.

Thanks for stopping by!

Multi purpose valentine challenge ;)

The scs "Rubber Bomshells" have been given the challenge this month to make a valentine with non traditional valentine colours, at the same time I was also asked for help from my friend Lyn who wanted to make an appropriate card for her ;) Friend who plays pool so I combined the two challenges. ( I think I'm fairly safe that he won't see it i doubt he checks out rubber stamping blogs very often lol)

I used Chocolate Chip, Basic Black, Garden Green and Kraft card stocks and punched the balls out of some scraps i had hanging around.  I used my circle punch to make the pockets, It was a really quick card to do and it was fun, Now I just have to make a card for my dh but I really don't know what to do for it.

Thanks for looking.

Kwerner challenge #39

I love my frogs!! I haven't used this set since the new catalogue came out but the Unfrogettable stamp set is still available while stocks last, aren't they cute!!

Every thing is from Stampin' Up! and colours are as stated I love using green galore on the frogs it's so vibrant. I used my aqua painters to colour the images in and mounted them with dimensionals,

I used the Unfrogettable stamp set, the balloon string from crazy for cupcakes and the heart from simply said. (so i managed to use 2 sets today that i haven't used for a while. yay!)

I used my blender pen to create the shine on the balloon by inking the stamp with real red then wiping the ink off where i didn't want it with the blender pen.

Secret Crafter : saturday challenge

I've been really enjoying my self lately joining in with different challenges on blogs I've found and today was no different.

Today on the Secret Crafter they set as their Saturday challenge to make a project using hearts... yes you can tell it's nearly February so this is what i made with my Stampin' Up! stash.

I used Whisper White card stock as my base which i cut into an oval card base using my colluzle, I then did the same thing with my Mellow Moss card stock and my Tea and Crumpets designer series paper.

I scalloped the edge of the Mellow Moss oval with my corner rounder ( with the guard taken off) and used my crafters tool kit to peirce the scallops.

I used the simply said stamp set in Always Artichoke and Pretty in Pink ink and aligned the flower heart onto the pink heart using my stamp-a-ma-jig.

I really enjoyed this challenge if you'd like to join in visit the secret crafter for their Saturday challenges.

Thanks for looking.

Pick a Petal valentine

Just a couple of cards i made this week, I've been trying to upload the pictures for 2 days now but blogger wouldn't let me, maybe it thinks it's too early for valentines? lol

I wanted to make some valentines which would be OK for a man, I always feel some valentines are just a bit to girlie to give to a bloke and I wanted a slightly more masculine feel and these are what i came up with.
Both cards use Stampin' Up! Pick a Petal stamp set to create the love hearts with black embossing powder on real red card stock,
I also used Basic Grey and Basic Black card stock with Real Red ribbon, Basic Grey taffeta ribbon, silver brads and dimensionals, silver embossing powder and the scallop edge punch.

The sentiments are from the seasonal wishes and basic phrases sets.

Thanks for looking
