I'm still here! honest!

Hi everyone thanks for the emails I am still here baby hasn't popped yet!

4 weeks to go, i've just been so busy getting ready for the baby and my son's 8th birthday that i forgot to post!

so this week i'm sharing some pretty thank you's that i've been making in preperation for the grand arrival

I used the Baby blossoms set from the mini catalogue with the beautiful wings embosslit, in pretty in pink, pink pirouette and regal rose with river rock which is absolutely gorgeous can't believe i've not used this more.....

and just thought i'd share this one with you too.....
this is our baby from the last scan we had, I have another booked for 2 weeks time just to check her growth but by that point she's going to be too big to get a good picture, the itching so far is under control, the swelling is well... swelling and i now look like i have a giant beach ball shoved up my top....  but on the bright side 4 weeks to go!  woop woop!  can't wait to meet her, I'm working on a few fabric projects so as soon as i get done with them i'll share those too!

will keep you all posted!

Simply Thank you!

Here is another of the cards I made while we were away, it's amazing how many cards you can make from one 6x6 piece of designer paper!

so this card I made using the simply said stamp set again, this time using Kraft card stock and Kraft designer series paper from the hostess ds paper bundle, with whisper white and Kraft taffeta ribbon combined with some Chocolate Chip, Close to cocoa and whisper white card stock, I stamped in Chocolate chip ink and coloured the image using a blender pen, by using the stampin spot on a piece of plastic and picking the colour up from the plastic sheet. for the sentiment I just inked the thank you part of the stamp which says "simply said from the heart thank you"

Thanks for stopping by!

I really like this card and it was so incredibly quick and easy,

again I used some of the paper from the Love stories simply scrappin' kit and also one of the adhesive borders,

I used a Regal Rose card stock base, I stamped the blossom image form the Soft Summer stamp set in Regal Rose ink on confetti white card stock which I coloured with pretty in pink and certainly celery markers and some whisper white taffeta ribbon I then mounted this on the card using stampin' dimensionals.

I made these two cards for the Funky Friday colour challenge and the Secret crafter saturday challenge,

I coloured the image using stampin' write markers in pretty in pink and perfect plum, I also used my scallop edge punch, scallop oval and oval punches and also my 1 1/16" hole punch for the details on the scallops. The ribbon was elegant eggplant gros grain which matches the elegant eggplant card base which i used.
This card also used the Live Your Dreams stamp set, I made the small flowers using the three for you punch for the directions for these flowers click here for the tutorial

kwerner colour challnege #48

Another soft summer card, but I absolutely love this set right now, and I really wanted to try it with this colour combination, Unfortunately we don't have Kiwi Kiss or Baja Breeze in the UK at the moment so I swapped them for the two closest colours I had which were Old Olive and Sage Shadow,
I used chocolate chip taffeta ribbon and a whisper white card base, I also used the scallop edge punch.

Funky Friday #7

I can't believe it's the weekend again already! where has the week gone?? (i spent most of the week sat in the garage waiting for my car to be fixed) so time to catch up on some most important crafting!
This is the card I made for the funky Friday challenge, over on my challenge blog

The colours this week were Brilliant blue, Black, silver and or gold. I decided not to use the gold but i had so much fun making this card.

I used three layers of Silver embossing powder on my chipboard butterfly and then while it was still soft I pressed my pocket silhouette stamp into it and I love the effect!

I also used that fantastic scallop circle punch and my 1 3/8" circle punch ( I use both ALOT!)
