alien have landed!

well only on the top of the birthday cake but still.....

my youngest son really wanted a toy story birthday cake this year so this is what i came up with..

I'm not the best at decorating cakes but i still have a go, my blue didn't quite come out the right shade and my aliens didn't want to stay on the planet but other than that i was quite pleased with how it came out,

The aliens were erasers (which originally had antenna but the kids were playing with them)

but the boys liked it and and it tasted good.

I'm nit really a lover of purple if i'm really honest but i really love the new in colour wisteria wonder,

with the co ordinating fabric and designer papers gorgeous!

OK i had absolutely no idea what to call this post... I'm running on solar power right now we've had one of those busy weeks and now it's time for a rest. unfortunately it's now half term holidays......

kids and cake.....

no stamping today sorry thought i'd share this with you though... while trawling the web with the kids to find some fun halloween gift ideas ( we reverse trick or treat and deliver treats instead of collecting them).... we came across these in google images...

unfortunately this picture doesn't quite show how much chocolate he was wearing!

or how much was on the table or the floor...

the one that looks good was mine! as you can see we might need a bit more practice with the pumpkins!

and my older son had better ideas of what to do with the sprinkles and sweets hmmmm

think we need to think again...

But they tasted good and we had fun and thats what it's all about i guess....

monster madness

I've had fun creating the invites for my youngest sons birthday party this week... he wanted a space theme party so i tried to make aliens although apparently according to the boys they are snot monsters (so glad #3 was a girl)
