Envelope picture book

HI   this really great little book is what my stampers 10 group got to make this month, it's a little more involved this month than normal as i thought i'd let them play with loads more of the new products, the basis of this book is just three envelopes stuck in a concertina, I used the sweet pea designer paper from the new mini catalogue it's gorgeous!  here's what i did with the inside...

There's lots of hidden journal panels and places for my photo's,  this picture you can see the sweet pea stamp set  REALLY LOVE THAT!

and of course the two step bird punch and some of the stitched felt....  ( before i get asked about the top note shape it was cut from a top note pattern which i printed from the Stampin' Up! website)

more stitched felt and yummy designer paper...  oh and some chocolate satin ribbon...

and here's my little bird form the front cover of my book!

I think all my ladies enjoyed making their books and it's great to see what every one creates with the same basic materials,  i'm sure i'll get to take photo's of them all when they have added their finishing touches!

Eggplant shimmer

Here's the card that i demonstrated at the experience event on Saturday afternoon in Plymouth, I used the shimmer paints on the eggplant card stock and on the edges of my flower from the absolutely gorgeous  vintage vgue stamp set from the new mini catalogue.  I actually swapped the colours around on my demo card and used soe mellow moss card stock for the scallops and stamped the leaves in moss ink but i forgot to take a photo of that one!

any way here's another card i did with the same layout and techniques with the all a flutter stamp which is a new stamp which you can buy on it's own in the new mini!

Absolutely no stamping today!

quick peak in my craft cupboard....................... I'd call it a room but after seeing pictures of other peoples "rooms" I'm not sure my 6" square space qualify's  any way...... so this is where I work it doesn't normally look quite as tidy as this and you really don't need to now how long it took me to make it look like this for the photo but I thought I should take the pic just to prove it can look tidy!   I was going to show you every detail but due to the fact that I couldn't get far enough away from anything to take a photo you'll just have to use your imagination (this picture is actually 3 photo shopped together so it looks a bit bigger)

Any way I'm not in my craft room today because the weather out side is so gorgeous I thought I'd make the most of it  hope you all have a great day and get some crafting done!  I'm leaving you with a quick picture of something with absolutely no stamping at all.....

made this at a craft class a couple of weeks ago!

Exploding secret garden.

As you all know by now it's very rare that i take loads of photo's of the same project and share them all but in this  case I thought it would be a shame to not do it,   I've just returned from the South west Stampin' Up! field training and experience event which was held today in Plymouth  it was really great and I had a really good time it was lovely to see all my team in one place today and for us all to share the experience which I hope they all enjoyed too!

Any way this project was my entry for the demo choice competition, My lovely down line Rosina won the competition for her gorgeous ribbon storage box WELL DONE ROSINA! ( which hopefully she took photo's of because i forgot my camera)  but here's my exploding box.......

I used the vintage vogue stamp set and the bird on the branch stamp set which I used on the last project for the grass and the trees.

Ink: mellow moss, chocolate chip, black stayz on,
Shimmer paint, crystal effects, window sheet, and cad stock in regal rose, chocolate chip, sage shadow, whisper white, so saffron, mellow moss, certainly celery, always artichoke  also with chocolate chip gros grain.

any way thanks for stopping by!

If you'd like more information about becoming a demonstrator and the great benefits and events that would give you access to then let me know!
