ok so starting to days post off with some more display boards from convention...  absolutely gorgeous projects created by the european demos...

this is us at the awards dinner... cna you see jayne desperately trying to avoid being in the photo ( he he x)

when we got ot the awards dinner we were greeted ( not sure if you can see in the background) by all the french demonstrators making a tunnel with feather boa's singing...

we had a really good giggle on our table, it was great to see friends from previous conventions and make new friends too!!!

After all thats one of the things that makes being a Stampin' Up! demo so much fun.. making new friends!

convention displays....

One of the things i love about convention are the displays... there is always so much to see

this one was just so cute! love the little squid made with the owl punch!

and one of my scrap book pages ( have to say sorry about the flash on my sister in laws face but the light wasn't fantastic)

of course i forgot to take a photo of it before i sent it off... typical.

that's how this week has been for me last week we were here:

Which was FAB!!!!

with my girls ( some of whom are very good at dodging the camera!!!) 

with Amelia

who had a great time she loved stretching out on the table while we crafted and watched the huge screen!!

and then we crafted!!!!  loads of new project ideas....

 lots of new friends....

just gotta share this photo with you.... this is when we educated our new friend jeenie to a few fauxpas in the US - British translation list!

That was one of my high lights haven't laughed so much in ages!!!  :)

well this week has flown by so quick and i have so much to share with you... just need time to upload it all!

Stampin' UP! European convention swap #2

Here's my other swap (well the one i remembered to take a photo of any way)

This one is designed to have a small family photo inside.. as my dh wants to send photo cards this year this is my compromise!

I used:   cherry cobler, chocolate chip, very vanilla and lucky limeade ink and card,

scallop circle die, curly label punch, polka dot embossing folder, tagtastic and pines and poinsettias stamp set

Stampin' Up! swap #1

Unfortunately i didn't take photo's of all the swaps i made... i know duh..

but here is one of them, 

I used: bashful blue, marina mist, crumb cake and soft suede card stock, 

crumb cake , soft suede and marina mist ink, 

the tagtastic and parlour prints stamps,

with the beautiful butterflies and two tags dies and the vintage wallpaper embossing folder and the scallop circle punch.

Card candy time...

Last year at convention i signed up for lots of  " organised swaps" and i was soo busy crafting up to convention my dh actually had to lend a hand to get me finished so i swore that this year i wouldn't do any "extra" swaps...

oooops... :)

Here's my card candy for the group i signed up for this year!  he he

what's card candy i hear you cry!!!  well card candy is premade/ finished embellishments which you could just add to any card or project

I used every little bit and the petite pairs stamp set along with my punches and bigshot dies... i quite enjoyed doing them!!

Team swap...

This is my team swap for my girlies at convention!

I used the petal card punch and made a little square christmas pudding  in side is a chocolate christmas pudding sweet i thought it was fun and cute!

i used the tiny tags stamp set and everything else was cut free hand with a little acetate window.... good job i only had to make a few!

Fantastic Fabrics...

As alot of you know i started out as a sewer and i still love dabbling with fabric even though I've discovered stamping!!

so the new fabrics which have been added to this years catalogue suit me right down to the ground.. the only problem i have is deciding which ones to get next! 

  

so while you are reading this I've swanned off   left  for convention ... so exciting! and four of my girls have been able to go along too this year....  we'll miss the ones who couldn't make it though!!  hope they can come next year!

here's some little gifts which i made for the girls that could go ...

 this bag is lisa's.... she specified she wanted a bigger bag!!!  can't wait to see her swaps which she's going to put in it!

this one is hayley's  they all had a convention survival kit and a matching note book too....

kathy's..  i love this wisteria wonder fabric  sooo pretty!

and jaynes ! i wanted to make them all different...

They were fun to make!

Presents in the post

I Just had to share this with you today... my girlies ( aka the angels ) know me so well last week i received this little gift from one of them.. 

Rosina......  made in my favourite colours ( apparently all my swaps are always done in these colours i'm not so sure my self!!)

 and stuffed full of chocolate!!!  the perfect present he he..

so Thank you Rosina the chocolate was yummy :)

Rosina used:

we made this little chappy a couple of months back at one of my classes but i hadn't posted him so here he is isn't he cute!  

he's made with the owl punch such a great versatile tool.... i'll be back with more owl art later ..

Saying Thank You....

just a quick post today...

at the end of each of my club terms (stampers 10 groups) my ladies get a little goody bundle from me of products which the group have earn't as extras over he club months and some other goodies which i add to the pot as we go along for a thank you at the end....

well here are some of those bundles which the last group received this week..

i made the tags with the pennant parade stamp set, teamed with the confetti stamp set, large tag punch and the small heart punch.
