Garden silhouettes

As requested
:)
Here are my latest garden silhouette cards, i just love this set, i used my markers to ink up the stamp, as i did before but this time i used certainly celery and blush blossom.
I used my three for you punch and made flowers from blush blossom card stock and attached them to my card front, I also used some extra small sticky pearls for the centre of the flowers. I used the same coloured ink and cad for both of theses cards, i just layered them in a different way.
I also embossed the corners of the white card with a jumbo stylus and the paper piercing template from the crafters tool kit.
materials: Blush Blossom, Certainly Celery and Whisper White card stock
Blush blossom, certainly celery ink,
certainly celery 1/4" grosgrain ribbon and ribbon from the fairy tale ribbon originals,
sticky back pearls.
Thanks for looking.

Happy Day

HI Me again :)

I made this card using the Happy day simply sent kit, the simply sent kits come with all the materials you need to get started with your card making and everything is pre-cut so there's no preparation and when you've used all the supplies in the box you are left with this lovely little stamp set which you can use again and again and again like i have here.

The colours shown in the picture above are not the materials in the simply sent kit for more information on what is included please refer to the current UK Stampin' Up! idea book and catalogue ( there's a link at the side of my blog.)

For this card i used Close to Cocoa, Whisper White and Really Rust card stock which all coordinate really well with the fall flowers designer series paper which i also used, I used the jumbo petals roller with Close to Cocoa ink and antique brass brads, This week i had someone ask me what a brad is... a brad is just a small paper fastener.

I love the autumn colours of this card they are really rich (but i'm not ready for autumn yet it would be nice to have some summer first!)

Thanks for checking out my blog come back again soon.

Abi

Froggy thanks

Just a quick little love note which i made for my sons thank you cards, because he loves the frog as much as i do!

I used the unfrogettable stamp set and the circle of friendship stamp set using mellow moss ink, I also used the mellow moss to water colour my frog with. I used the scallop punch with certainly celery card and the 1-3/8" circle punch

Thanks for looking

Abi

Unfrogettable

I seem to have a fascination with this frog recently and he is definitely on my most used list but isn't he lovely?!
This card is one which i use as a make and take at my home workshops so if you'd like to have a go with this little cheeky chappy and you live in Cornwall then contact me for more information about having a Stampin' Up! Party in your home, and see if we can earn some more fantastic people some excellent freebies!!!!
This card is made using Whisper White, Certainly Celery, Mellow Moss card stock with Certainly celery ribbon, I used the water colouring technique with an aqua painter on the frog and doesn't he look lovely.
I used the spot on jumbo roller with certainly celery ink basic grey ink for the frog outline and celery ink to water colour.

OK so I've had a little flutter with lots of colour and now I'm back to simplicity :) well for now any way.

For this card i used: Whisper White and Perfect Plum card stock with Elegant Eggplant gorsgrain ribbon.

I used a stamp from the Garden Silhouettes stamp set also sentiments from the Basic Phrases and Daily flexible Phrases Stamp sets,

I also used my crafters tool kit to punch the detailing around the corners of the card. which i then used my stampin pastels over the top of to bring out the detail and to soften the edges of the white card stock.

To ink the image i used my blender pen and i picked up the colour from my ink pad as if i was water colouring and then i coloured my stamp, I used Pale Plum and Perfect Plum ink, when i had coloured the image in i then "huffed" on the stamp ( no i wasn't having a tantrum, huffing is when you breath onto the surface of the stamp to re moisten the ink), Thus creating the effect above, as you can see i used the darker colour ( perfect plum in this case) around the edges of the image to add depth to the picture.

This technique is perfect if you are using the Stampin' write markers, but if you haven't got the markers a blender pen and an ink pad will work just as well. (to see more information about watercolouring and other techniques click on the technique label at the bottom of this post)

Happy stampin'

Wild about you!

I love this card, it's just so cute, unfortunately i cannot take the credit for it, I found it on scs ( i forget who created the original but if it was you i'd love to know :) and just fell in love with the colours, I had to change the punches used as they are not all available in the uk yet but everything is available from Stampin' Up!
card recipe: Wild About You Stamp Set, Bashful Blue, Creamy Caramel, Chocolate chip and Whisper White card stock Chocolate chip, and Close to Cocoa Ink, Chocolate Chip gros grain ribbon
Punches: Scallop, corner rounder, 1" circle , 1 1/4" circle and tab punch , I also used the crafters tool kit to punch small holes around the edge of the flap, This card would be ideal as a pouch by only mounting three sides of the creamy caramel onto the bashful blue and not securing the flap down with adhesive.
Thanks for looking.
