Christmas pouches

I received one of these at convention as a swap and i thought it was great... ( sorry i can't remember who made it and i can't find the tag Edited to add it was made by carolyn Uk you can find a link to her blog  in the comments just click on her name!).  so this week i'm buying more christmas designer paper so we can make these to go on our tree.....

I also had all my ladies making them at our class last week i loved seeing how they all decorated with their ribbons it was really inspiring!  so i'll be playing with ribbons i think!

Loving this box, my best friend was sat next to me while i made it and she couldn't believe how quick it was to create.. I may have created a monster.

I used garden green ink and card with old olive ribbon and red glitter.

Not technically packaging i know......

 I seem to be lagging a bit on the packaging front this week i'm  afraid my camera really has given up the ghost now so it's at the top of my christmas wish list now!!!

We woke up yesterday to snow, the kids were super excited and so were some of the grown ups too... which kind of inspired this little table setting.  

I used my circle punches and the tab punch and also the designer label punch.... it was a fun project to make and my son jack was really excited this morning to see it has his name on it!

Spotty potty

a bit or recycling again...our allotment buddies will recognise this pot  I promise it was empty when i brought it home.. so were the other 6,

I've only decorated one so far but they will eventually be filled with either chocolates or cookies i think....

Love that it matches the christmas jingle scrappin kit though!

petal punch treat box

I suppose you could use this for anything really.. jewelry, lipstick.... one of my ladies suggested 20p 's  I used the petal punch the large tag punch and the curly label punch and the always elegant stamp set with razzelberry card and ink.

reduce reuse and recycle

I found my part used christmas jingle scrappin' kit and i have fallen in love with it all over again.... yes this is a pre used tin  :) which i covered in chocolate chip textured card stock added one of the borders from the scrappin kit and a bit of old olive striped ribbon.....  i made a matching notebook and pen to go with it.

Christmas treats.....

Sorry bad blogger... I promise i will be updating regulaly from now  starting with christmas packaging ideas for the next 2 weeks then i will move onto present ideas ok!

Quick treat container.. I haven't really had chance to play much with my sweet treat cups so here's the first experiment.. when we made this at one of my classes recently one of the ladies pointed out to me that the treats should have been chocolate covered raisins soooo watch this space :)

I used the sparkly and bright stamp set.

oooops sorry

being really slack with the blog updates sorry it's that time of year again too much to do and not enough time to do it in!

So much so i'm posting half finished projects on my blog!!!  oh no!!  appologies for the poor picture my camera didn't want to co-operate.

Any how made this poinsetta with the ornament punch and the contempo christmas stamp set i also used the medallion stamp.  I'm quite happy with the way it has turned out so far i might even get chance to add a sentiment that's if it gets finished in time for this christmas!!!!  (insert horrified face)

but hopefully all your preperations for the season are going a lot better than mine!  hope you all have a productive day!!

Our weekend.. opportunity to scrap i think..

Right so we had a really great time at convention like i said in the last post but i thought you might like to get a feel for what it was like so i put together a little montage of pictures to help you...

It was held at Addigton palace which was an 18th century palace not really built for 300+ demonstrators but it was "cosy" as shelli said on her blog.

Momento mall was great this year we could actually buy things there!

It was great to have some more of my Angels there with me this year!

and we got to Stamp as well....

of course we had to have photo's with shelli, she really is such a lovely lady,

Unfortunately her husband Sterling wasn't able to come this year as he's broken his collar bone and also we missed Chris from demo support too!

Then there were the friends we caught up with and the new ones we made there!

and the hanging out in the evenings which was REALLY fun!

All in ALL had a fantastic time i promise i will post our creations as soon as my batteries are recharged ( the camera ones and my own)

Definitely going to have to scrap these this year!

My good friend KELLY  has put together a page on her blog solely for the display boards of creations at convention you can view those HERE  the page i made up of lots of demo's photo's that they shared with her ( i'm kind of glad she did it because my camera died again and i didn't get many so thanks kelly!!)

SO i'm excited and so are my kids because next years Stampin' Up! convention is going to be at DISNEY LAND PARIS !  so planning for that trip already!

back from convention!!!!

Well we all had a fab time at convention (ok so lisa's not smiling but that was cos she was watching for the flash!)  BUT HONESTLY IT WAS REALLY GOOD FUN! 

it was great to meet up with all our friends from last years convention  and meet some new friends this year too!

this is me and 3 of my team on the main stage at convention and yes that is a giant stamp block behind us!  cool hey :)

below is my card candy for the card candy swap I received some absolutely gorgeous candy in return when i have completely unpacked i'll share some of it with you.

but for now here's thomas and toby with bob and spud and of course walle and eve.

A christmas swap today....

I used the fine flourish stamp with white craft ink, heat and stick powder, dazzlin diamonds and the perfect punches stamp set

Card and ink basic black and whisper white.

Super simple and sparkly  LOVE IT!

mini scrap book swap

i have taken part in a mini scrap book swap every one that signed up has made a 9 x9 cm mini page to create a little book with their photo on this is mine.

I used tempting turquoise, chocolate chip, bashful blue and crumb cake card stock whisper white craft ink and the so swirly roller,  scallop circle punch, 1 3/8" punch, large star punch 1" punch.
