daydreaming......

well it's the summer holidays here and in true summer holiday fashion my blogging is falling behind already...... sorry.

we're getting ready here in the Uk for the Second European stampin' up convention which I am SOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED ABOUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  this year it's being held in LONDON  and i can't wait booked my place already along with most of my team  and we are just so excited to be going together it's just going to be so much fun hanging out with my angels!!!  It would be so much fun if they could all be there!

so on that excited note thought i would leave you with some photo's from last years Stampin' Up! convention in Germany!!

Good friend scrap booking

Ok i know i'm seriously late fr scrap book saturday, I spent most of the day with two of my Lovely down line on saturday at a really fun Stampin' Experience event in Bodmin, we all had a really great time and we met some really great enthusiastic stampers!  so i forgot to post this but better late than never!

clean and simple this week with a little bit of paper piercing

I used the sunny day simply scrappin kit with some creamy caramel card stock , creamy caramel ink and the Good friend stamp set.  to enlarge the pictures  click on them.

reduce re use and recycle!

The Funky Friday challenge this week is to recycle with your project so i used some brown paper envelope and and some garden string in my project...  along with some shimmer paint and my gorgeous dasher.

Teacher gifts..

My eldest son decided he wanted to make note books for his teachers, he chose the papers and the ribbons for all of them  I just stuck them together for him the way i was told....  :)

He also instructed me that each note book needed tissues because the teachers are going to cry on the last day sooo  as instructed....

Yay! Scrapbook Saturday's back

so I finally finished a page to share with you all!

This is a 6x6 scrap book page i have made two but it's some where safe ( translates to i don't know where it's gone)  it's hiding amongst my craft stuff  so thought i'd just share this one.

I used the tiny tags stamp set with pocket silhouettes, 1" , 1 1/4" , 1 3/8" and 1 3/4" circle punches and the scallop edge punch i used chocolate chip ink and the paper piercer and mat pack.....................

onto something i have been working on for a few weeks and still not had chance to finish so it's going to be a work in progress i think...

My family scrapbook, using some of the designer series paper stack, sweet pea papers which i am totally in love with especially for scrap booking will have to show you those next week!

two step no stamping!

Thought i'd try something different this time...  i decided to have a go at using the two step bird as a stencil i think it's kind of cute, added some faux stitching around the edges and a button and the wing on dimensionals,

let me know what you think :)

only a number

My dads birthday card, I never really know what to put on a male card so this time just went with reminding him how old he is  :)   I used the sanded background stamp and the loads of love stamp set for this card.

it's absolutely perfect for quick gift boxes!   Chocolate on the oustside... 

and on the inside... some hand made choccies, I haven't made these for a long time but the ones i saved for us were really yummy.

Twilight inspired journal

been having a play with some on board journals... this one was a gift for my friend heather who has been letting me hold our scrap booking classes ( crop ) in her house and i wanted to make something special for her as a thank you!

each of the dividers inside were slightly different

I used crystal effects alot on this journal  and i loved the cracked effect i created with it on the covers and this heart,

and the back, I coloured my real red satin ribbon with black stayz on as i didn't have any black ribbon and it worked really well,

hopefully heather liked it :)

I used:

versa mark ink, black stayz on, real red, bravo burgundy, rich razzelberry and elegant eggplant inks,

rich razzelberry, bravo burgundy and elegant eggplant cardstock,

black emboss powder, crystal effects, tab punch, spiral punch, real read satin ribbon, black gingham ribbon, on board chipboard,

A rose is a rose stamp, baroque motifs and en francais stamp sets.

super party.......

It was my eldest son's birthday last week and he really wanted to have a movie party, originally we were going to go to the cinema but due to the cinema not knowing what they were showing ( other than eclipse which is on tomorrow morning!  yay)  we couldn't really plan it so we decided to borrow a projector and screen from my husbands boss and host the movie at home :)

any way these were his party invites, they had a great time and ate way too much sweet stuff and he now thinks we should do it every week!  

I used:

the all in the family stamp set  #113488

ruby red, basic black and whisper white card stock

and the spiral punch #109973 for the movie film edges.

Also over at funky friday this week we are challenging you to send us some inspiration, this could be a photo of something you'd like to use as a theme or a photo of  a possible colour theme to set a challenge.......         well no one said i couldn't enter so this is my entry i love the purple and the white on these flowers thought it could be a pretty combination to try.
