One of those weeks......

OK so I know we all have them occasionally but i'm kind of glad this week is over, it's been one of those weeks where there just haven't been enough hours in the day and the nights weren't long enough either....

Any how here is my card for the Funky Friday challenge this week which was set by Kelly,  I'm a bit late but I'm catching up so it's ok!!!  ( i'll keep telling myself that till i'm all caught up any way)

Birthday Birdie

So Just a super quick post today I made this card recently for one of my son's little friends, she's lovely and funny and thought her card should be fun too,

SO i went for clean and simple with a whisper white base  and I used the sunny days simply scrappin' kit for the bird and added her name with the big deal alphabet it was fun to make and super quick too!

I used:  Pink Passion, Pumpkin Pie, Tempting Turquoise, Old Olive and Lavender Lace inks.

HAITIAN DISASTER RELIEF UPDATE 23 February 2010
There are just a few days left to participate in Stampin′ Up!’s Haitian relief efforts! Until 28 February 2010, Stampin′ Up! is setting aside £1 from the sale of the green house garden stamp set to be donated to the American Red Cross’ Haiti Relief and Development Fund. Cute and simple

I used the same layout and colours for these cards as i did for the flowers for all seasons cards a few weeks ago, but I love the clean and simple look with these trees from the trendy trees stamp set.

My Dear Friend.............

Here's my design team creation for the Funky Friday challenge this week which was a sketch...   no scrap book page this time i hear you cry...  well no actually needed a birthday card for a friend and thought i may as well make something useful and I loved the sketch so here's my take on it..

I Used:

Card stock:  Nigth of Navy, Whisper White
Stamp set: Occasional greetings
Ink: Night of Navy
Accessories: eyelet border punch, Pretties kit, satin ribbon, crystal effects.

Twilight fan alert!!!!

OK so those who know me know that I'm a little obsessed with Twilight, I'm not the type of person who normally wants to read about vampires  but since reading the first book have been a little hooked! 

Well turns out I know someone more obsessed with it than I am and that's scary!!

any how what do you give to someone who loves Twilight??  well a twilight journal of course!!

well kind of this was my take on it any way.

Here's the front cover ( obviously the recipients name started with an E )

and then each of the dividers were decorated with a picture from of one of the books a rose, Bella's truck and an Apple ( sorry think i deleted that picture)

I had fun making it and the recipient was pretty impressed too! 

Here's what I used:

Note book from my local super market

Stamp sets: Loads of love ( truck) , Bloomin' with beauty ( rose ), Tart and Tangy  (apple)

Card stock:  Basic Black, Real Red, Kraft, Whisper White

Ink: Real Red, Basic Black, Really Rust,

Accessories:  Eyelet border punch, Tab Punch, White Taffeta ribbon, on board loads of letters, spiral punch, cropodile.

Treat boxes

Super simple Valentines treat box!   not sure yet which type of treats to put in it but i haven't got a lot if time left to decide either!  I used the three heart punch and the love you  much stamp set.

There just don't seem to be enough hours in the day at the moment, which is why this is a little late  ( sorry )

there will be a tutorial soon to go along with these boxes just as soon as i get time to put it together.

  but here's the other one too!   I used the greenhouse garden set for this one my kids want to give it to my mother so it's perfect for her.

Just a really quick Thank you that I made recently, I guess you could put anything you like on it and of course in the pouch it would be perfect for a gift card.

Ink:  Regal rose, mellow moss, basic black and so saffron
